Microsoft releases a new firmware update for its Surface devices(Surface Pro 3 and Surface Pro 4 at this moment). The update offers Battery Limit feature which once enabled, the battery charge will be limited to 50 percent of its maximum capacity. You should get the firmware update via the Windows update and even if you do not you can download from here(Surface Pro 3 | Surface Pro 4).
