At the Windows Devices event in October, Microsoft announced that they are bringing support for Dolby ATMOS on Xbox One/S with the Windows 10 Creators Update in the spring of 2017.

Now, according to Larry Hryb, best known as “@majornelson” on Xbox, the feature will be coming to Xbox one owners as a preview as early as next week.

In Dolby ATMOS, you get to listen to a moving audio that flows around you with breathtaking realism. Sound moves around you in three-dimensional space, exciting your senses, emotions so you feel like you’re inside it all together.
