Windows 10

With each new feature addition, Windows 10 comes out better than before. One of the most highlighted and go to thing is the Windows Start menu, which now is a blend of classic Windows 7 and Windows 8 style, and the result is a elegant Start.

Windows 10 Creators Update added a new start menu feature for users which puts consumers more in control of how the Start menu appears. This means, a user can switch between the Live tiles view or the old All apps list style view, coming from Windows 7.  Let’s see how to do that.

Assuming the app list is turned on (by default).

  1. Fire up Start and go to Settings. (or Press Win Key+ I)
  2. Go to Personalization.
  3. Click on Start (from the list on the left).
  4. On the right side of the settings screen, look for Show app list in Start menu toggle.
  5. Click or Slide the toggle to off position. Done!

As you can see from the pictures below, depending on the whether the particular feature is ON or not, the Start adjust by itself to only show the Live Tiles or both All Apps+Live Tiles.

I hope this helps to further make Windows the way you like.
