Microsoft gets a Wireless Charger certified at FCC that supports Notebook, a day before the Surface Event

It seems that you can add one more product to the list of Surface products and accessories to be launched at the event tomorrow, October 2. Microsoft just got a wireless charger certified at FCC and the charger is not meant for a Surface Pen as it supports Notebook charging.

It may also mean that new Surface devices like Pro 7, Laptop 3 may support wireless charging. Now coming to the wireless charger certified at FCC, its model no. is 1915.

The charger has power ratings of 5Vdc, 200mA. The certification also reveals that charger can run in three modes and
  • Charging with 10% Load
  • Charging with 50% Load
  • Charging with Full Load

It comes with an NFC FPC loop antenna and the dimensions are revealed to be 162.9 x 17 x 9.9mm.
