Microsoft’s popular search engine Bing is now getting an update. The company is rolling out an update for this Holiday season.
Some pretty interesting features are on board with this update. Some new experiences coming with this update are holiday shopping new weather updates, some other UI changes to the weather, sports news and much more.
Holiday shopping:
Microsoft is bringing you shopping tools for this holiday season. With new tools, you can quickly search for any new deal, any special sale or even compare different products also. Ben has always been very good for courier tracking or package tracking. This holiday season, the company has already partnered with many more courier service providers.
Also in time for the holidays, we’ve increased the number of delivery services we support for package tracking, expanding our coverage from USPS, UPS, and Fedex in the US to coverage of several markets outside the US including myHermes in Great Britain and Purolator in Canada. Simply put your tracking ID in the search box, and Bing will present the latest tracking status right in the search result.
#AmplifyIngenuity Photo Contest:
The #AmplifyIngenuity Photo Contest was launched earlier on 10th of this month. In this contest users across globe were invited to share se pictures they capture. Some selected pictures will get a chance to be featured on the Bing homepage.
Historical weather and sports information:
Weather and sports information have already been available on Bing. There is a new update to these new features. With this update, you can statistics also on the weather and sports information page.
For example if you’re planning to travel outside, you can search for they place and get detailed weather information. This update provides you information with full stats and records.
