We last reported about a new cloud re-install option leaked in Windows 10 Build 18950. Now, more details have emerged about this option.
Microsoft enthusiast Albacore has tried to make this feature work and succeeded in doing so. But it downloads very old Windows 10 builds.

The reason behind the cloud re-install feature downloading such an old build is perhaps because this is not a new feature but a very old feature originally shelved but now being adopted by Microsoft.
Looks like the reason why this downloads such an old ESD is because the feature itself is very old. Maybe something that was shelved a long time ago and only now picked up? Currently looking for which build actually introduced this

A Microsoft employee confirmed that this feature is coming in the future but may not be the same feature that is being dug by fans.
