A Windows Technical Preview November update is available for Windows 10 devices running the latest Build 9879. The update is named KB3016725 and while clicking on “more info” takes you to the Microsoft support’s non-existent page, we can tell you what this update does.
In the known issues list for Build 9879, Microsoft had mentioned that two of the issues will be fixed with an upcoming update. According to Gabriel from Microsoft, KB3016725 does fix these two issues namely,
- In some cases you may get a black screen when trying to log-in or unlock. The only option is to hold the power button to hard reboot.
- You will be unable to connect to Distributed File System network locations.
