Office for Windows (Beta) now lets you paste SVG content from Office into (supported) third party apps; Changelog

Microsoft has released a new Office for Windows update in the Beta Channel for those in the Office Insider Program.

With version 2010 (Build 13408.20000), users can now paste SVG content from Office to third party apps. This feature is available in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

You can now paste SVG content from Office into third party apps that support SVG. This feature is available in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. We’re working on releasing it to the other Office apps shortly.

  • We fixed an issue where In content placeholder icon next to Pictures didn’t have a tooltip.
