Samsung already working on a high-end Windows phone with 5-inch screen.

It seems Samsung is going to give Windows Phone platform one more serious try next year. A leak from Indian importation records reveal that Samsung has been sending the Samsung SM-W750V to India, for “testing and evaluation”. A search on Handsetdetection.com, gives following user agent about the device,

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 10.0; Windows Phone 8.0; Trident/6.0; IEMobile/10.0; ARM; Touch; SAMSUNG; SM-W750V)

As can be seen in above screenshot the device has a 5-inch screen and a mentioned value of 33245 INR ($533) for testing, which will put it in the high-end bracket of Samsung’s phone range. So, is it the flagship Windows Phone variant of Samsung Galaxy 5? Nothing is confirmed, we don’t even know whether this device will come to market. Though, we certainly welcome some competition to Lumia, after all it pushes vendors to bring more capable devices.
