Microsoft is well aware of the fact that Windows 10 updates sometimes become excruciatingly painful. The story is not entirely true for the entire demographics using Windows 10. But the number of users facing the problem is so huge that Microsoft cant affords to ignore the issue.

Except for the Windows 10 version 1803 all the previous build get an update via Windows update. Microsoft calls this update Windows 10 update facilitation service[KB4056254]. The update will address all the glitches affecting background update process. Microsoft also claims that Windows update facilitation service will ensure only quality update are installed seamlessly on your device and help to improve the reliability and security of devices running Windows 10.

As stated earlier this update will only pop up in your Windows update if you are running any of Windows 10 version except 1803. Devices that are running those builds on Home or Pro editions that are not domain joined will automatically get the update downloaded and installed through Windows Update. Devices not connected to Windows Update may see a User Account Control (UAC) prompt during installation. Click Yes to install.

The Redmond giant is trying its best to address the issues that are frequent among the users via different updates which is a good thing.
