Windows 10

After the lackluster attempt which got doomed with users complaining about missing files after installing the update a month earlier, Microsoft has finally solved the problem and now rolling out the Windows 10 October 2018 update once again. Interestingly enough, the software giant suggests users not to force the October update and wait until the update is offered automatically to their PC.

The official revised ISO is still awaited, at least there isn’t any at the time of authoring this article which is again quite understandable after what happened after in the last month. However, this does not mean Microsoft won’t release ISOs.

November 13 marks the revised start of the servicing timeline for the Semi-Annual Channel (“Targeted”) release for Windows 10, version 1809, Windows Server 2019, and Windows Server, version 1809.  Beginning with this release, all future feature updates of Windows 10 Enterprise and Education editions that release around September will have a 30-month servicing timeline.
