Windows 11 is not just a cosmetic upgrade over Windows 10 but also brings many usability and performance improvements. Microsoft has now explained in a video the performance optimizations that give Windows 11 the speed edge over Windows 10.

We previously covered how Windows 11 is significantly faster than Windows 10. Both real-life and benchmark performance tests comparing Windows 11 and Windows 10 prove this. Windows 11 boots nearly 18% faster than the Windows 10. Windows 11 seems to be performing better than Windows 10 in all benchmark scores. For example, on Geekbench Windows 11 has 9% better single-core and 15% better multi-core score over Windows 10.

Microsoft has now detailed the performance optimizations that empower Windows 11 to outperform Windows 10. Steve Dispensa, VP of Enterprise Management at Microsoft has explained these optimizations in a video. Check the video below to learn more.

Windows 11 new features/changes:

For those interested, Windows 11 update release will be known as Windows 11 October 2021 update or Windows 10 version 21H2 and is targeted at a October 5, 2021 release. Windows 11 brings lots of UI/UX changes, new features, performance and usability improvements over Windows 10.
