0

Windows 10 Store has been updated, and while we commonly refer some other in the Store, the case here is different. Windows Store has received a lot of UI and usability improvements before the Creators Update release, scheduled on April 11 of this month.

The update is available for Insiders on Fast and Slow ring at the time of this writing with app v11703.1000.156.0

So far, we have been able to notice some of the major visible improvements like:

  • A new progress bar UI for current download(s)
  • Connection/download speed
  • Download Progress Storage + Total Storage
  • Work or School account switching directly from Ham menu
  • Share link is replaced by a button and sits right next to install button, proven visibility.
  • Load speed improvements
  • Search bar UI improvement + cancel button
  • After you install/update an app/game, toast notifications appear with Launch or Pin app options.

Even if the screenshots above are from a mobile device, the same changes are reflected across Windows 10 PC app.

These are some of the noticeable improvements reported by many users around, and if you think we have missed something please let us know in the comment section below.
