Surface Book 2

Microsoft today announced the next-gen Surface Book, the Surface Book 2.

The Surface Book 2 is fueled by the 8th generation of Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050/1060 discrete graphics options for fluid and immersive experiences.

As per Microsoft,

Surface Book 2 is up to five times more powerful than the original and is twice as powerful as the latest MacBook Pro.

This time Microsoft is launching Surface Book in different screen sizes – 13.5″ and 15″ PixelSense Display.

The PixelSense display delivers stunning, lifelike visuals from virtually any angle. Surface Book 2 also provides an all-day battery life – up to 17 hours of video playback. 70% more than the latest MacBook Pro.

The 13-inch Surface Book 2 weighs at 3.38lbs and the 15″ Surface Book 2 at 4.2lbs, which makes it ridiculously light for a mobile form factor.

Surface Book 2 adapts to the way you work and create. Draw or paint in Studio Mode using Surface Pen3 and Surface Dial.3 Render huge 3D files or edit 4K video in Laptop Mode. Watch videos and present in View Mode. Or, detach the screen to Tablet Mode and collaborate on the fly.

The 15″ Surface Book 2 display delivers almost 7M pixels – 45% more than the MacBook Pro.

On the connectivity front, Surface Book 2 has a USB-A port, NEW USB-C port, and full-size SD card reader which makes it easy to connect other devices, accessories and memory cards.
