Facebook Messenger has received a new update for Windows 10 devices. The latest update version is 165.1679.24923.0 which brings new features and improvement to the app. This is the same update which was previously released for a beta.

In terms of changes, the latest update brings Application redesignChat reorganization, and more. Check out the full changelog below.

Changelog:

  • It is now possible to send photos in 4K and videos in HD: Just connect to the Messenger settings, open the “Photos, videos and emoji” section and then select “Always send in HD”    
  • It is now possible to send reactions to every message sent and received: Simply click the right button and choose the reaction you prefer    
  • Application redesign: Improved home and contact list    
  • Chat reorganization: The chats have been completely revised. You will now find a new gray send bar and a new “+” icon to choose the multimedia files you want to send (voice, position or gif)     
  • Improvements with the research: The research has been completely redesigned and will also cover the contents of the groups     
  • Availability: In the settings, you will find the new item “Availability” to choose whether to show active to other users (and vice versa)     
  • Stickers search: You can now search for your favorite stickers by choosing from the different groups present by Messenger     
  • Various news and minor corrections.
