GroupMe gets Polls feature in latest update on both iOS and Android

Microsoft has updated its GroupMe chat-focused application in the App Store for iOS and Play Store for Android.

The latest update, version 5.9.0, comes with a nice new feature along with some usual bug fixes and performance improvements.

GroupMe on iOS

First, you can now create polls in group conversations just like any other attachment. In addition, to improve readability, the bright theme has been tweaked for better viewing.

What’s new in v5.9.0

  • Need your group to decide on something? Try our new poll feature! Polls can be added like any other attachment. All polls are conveniently listed in the group tray.
  • Not yet smitten by our Dark Theme? We tweaked the Bright Theme to improve readability!
  • Other minor fixes and improvements.
