Surface Go 2

After going on sale this week, Microsoft Surface Go 2 is receiving a new firmware update.

This new firmware update focusses on improving connection reliability for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Here’s what is new:

  • Intel – net – 21.80.2.1: Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz – Network Adapters – improve connection reliability.
  • Intel Corporation –Bluetooth – 21.80.0.3: Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth – Bluetooth – improve connection reliability.


After installing the latest update, users should get all the previous updates if your Surface doesn’t have them already.


It is worth mentioning that not all Surface Go devices will receive the update at the same time, but it will be delivered in stages to all devices.


The Surface Go 2 has a bigger, brighter 10.5” touchscreen display, up to 8th Gen Intel® Core™ m3 Processor, Embedded SIM (eSIM), or physical SIM and all-day battery life plus Fast Charging support with Surface Dock.
