Bing Releases New Imagery Covering 290 Cities in Partnership With Airbus

In partnership with Airbus, Bing has announced the availability of new imagery covering 290 different cities around the world. The cities in this latest update are in Canada, France, India, Italy, Japan and Spain, totaling 21,000 square kilometers.

Below are a few examples of the new imagery available:

Yellowknife, Canada

Yellowknife is the capital of the Northwest Territories in Canada and is known for a long history in gold and diamond mining.

Cahors, France

Cahors is the capital of the Lot region in southwest France and is the birthplace of the celebrated Malbec wines.

Dispur, India

Dispur is the capital of state of Assam in northeastern India. Home of the Guwahati Tea Auction Centre, it is among the busiest tea trading centers in the world.

Iwata, Japan

Iwata, located in Shizuoka prefecture of Japan, is known as the headquarters of Yamaha Motor Corporation.

Pisa, Italy

World famous for its leaning tower, Pisa in Tuscany, Italy is also home to many more architectural sights including the Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles).

Los Cabos, Mexico

Los Cabos, Mexico, popular for its climate, beaches and sport fishing, is one of Mexico’s fastest growing resort areas.
