After a nearly 10-year gap, the XPS 17s 4-sided InfinityEdge display makes it the smallest 17-inch laptop on the planet which is smaller than 48% of 15-inch laptops available in the market today, the company claims in an official blog post.

Talking about the XPS 15, Dell sees it as the smallest 15.6-inch performance class laptop, thanks to a larger 16:10 display and new front-firing speakers.

Additionally, the new XPS 15 features GeForce® GTX 1650 Ti (4GB GDDR6) while the XPS 17 is fueled by the GeForce RTX 2060 graphics, with Max-Q design.

The XPS 15 offers up to 24 hours on a Full HD+ model when using applications like Word or Excel or up to 16 hours when streaming Netflix.

Likewise, on the UHD+ panel, users should expect up to 13 hours running apps and up to 8 hours of Netflix streaming.

On the other hand, the XPS 17 offers up to 19 hours of battery life.

With such amazing battery life, users can easily stream favorite online shows, do extended gaming, and render 4K videos with zero lag.

To keep the heat away during heavy workloads, Dell has incorporated advanced thermal redesign which pushes the heat spread through (using dual heat pipes) the venting on the hinge.
