The search as we know them is dominated by Google and there is no way one can argue about this, but the thing is as with most of the product, it is not perfect and that let Bing or DuckDuckGo or whatever thrive in this burgeoning world of the Internet. In this video, I discuss some finest features or functionalities of Bing that can challenge Google.
I explore five areas where Bing really outdoes every single search engine on this planet earth. I talk about education, and by education, I mean a bit of chemistry and some code, there is also a cool thing in Bing which is ‘Bing wallpapers’ and I’m sure you don’t have it in Google or any other search engine for that matter. I also tried some random search like ‘World Engineers day’ and the result was quite surprising as I expected Google to outperform Bing in this particular case. Nevertheless, that’s how it is! And last but not least I also talk about another unique feature that is ‘Bing image search’ which is not available on the desktop for obvious reasons. Bing image search is one of its kind and currently has no competition and also works quite well.
There are a lot of people who bash Bing as if it is the worst thing that has ever happened to Microsoft and the world of technology, and they do this without even exploring the Bing, without exploring its capabilities. Just for the record, Google is the world’s number one search engine and it deserves to be at the top but that does not mean others are not great. Go, give Bing a chance and see what it can do!
