The Lumia 750Â was recently spotted in a hands-on video, courtesy of Nokibar. The handset is in its prototype form and runs some very old Insider build of Windows 10 Mobile. We have had come across a number of rumors and leaks of its existence in the past but unfortunately it never saw the light of the store shelves.
From the specifications, it seems Microsoft aimed to launch it for the first time buyers as an affordable handset just like the Lumia 550. As the video progresses, the handset is given a complete benchmark and as such reveals several of the major specifications of the device which you can find below.
It features:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (4 x Cortex-A53 cores @ 1.2GHz)
- Adreno 306 GPU
- 1GB RAM / 8GB + microSD
- Network: GSM HSPA
- Display: 5″ HD Screen with Gorilla Glass 3
- 8MP 3264×2448, Zeiss optics, autofocus, LED flash 1080p@30fps + 5MP ffc
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, hotspot
- BT v4.0, A2DP, LE, apt-X
- 2650mAh battery
- GPS (A-GPS GLONASSL) Accelerometer, proximity, luminosity, led notification
With Windows 10 on Mobile market share sinking day by day, developers dropping support for apps, and hardware partners clearing up Windows phone stock, it is not much shocking as to why Microsoft did not brought the Lumia 750 to the market.
One may find it confusing as the video above says Lumia 555 , but we are referring it as the Lumia 750. You may be right, as Nokibar also believes that it is not the Lumia 750 because of its worse specs and a direct downgrade over the Lumia 650 in terms of specifications. Yet, another speculation may be it is the Lumia 550 successor.
