Microsoft has pushed a fresh new update for its Translator app for iOS in the App Store. The latest update, version 3.0.5), adds a new feature to the app as well gives users more control on turning on/off the socially offensive language or bad language.

What’s New in Version 3.0.5

  • Added a setting to turn off profanity filter.
  • Added feature to show language detected in the format “English (Detected)” and let user swap “to” and “from” language.

ICYMI, these features are already available on Android version of the app.

Microsoft Translator is a free, personal translation app for 60+ languages, to translate text, voice, conversations, camera photos and screenshots. You can even download languages for offline translation for free to use when you travel.
