It is no secret that Windows 10 Mobile as we know it is dead and Joe Belfiore confirmed it officially. Now, while the Redstone 3 Windows 10 Mobile insider builds brought nothing in terms of new features and changes it was expected that there may be new Redstone 4 Mobile insider builds too.
Those expectations were in part due to some tweets from Microsoft employees involved in the insider program.
The Windows Insider preview program for Mobile will continue.

But when has Microsoft been known for direct and clear communications, when it comes to mobile, especially. And now we hear from same Microsoft employees that there are no new Mobile insider builds coming.
I just did. No mobile builds are coming. You won't see us talk about product strategy or comment on those things. That's not our team.

So, as expected this left many insiders fuming. Perhaps announcing this in a blog post could have been much better. But when it comes to mobile Microsoft’s PR has always been disaster.
I mean, a few thousands of us were loyal Mobile insiders for around 2 years. The least that the Insider team can do is write a blog post
