Microsoft has finalized Windows 11 version 22H2 for release this year and is already seeding builds for version 23H2 to insiders. The first build for version 23H2 brought Tabbed File explorer. And, now a hidden feature has been leaked by enthusiasts.

The new feature brings a search widget on the Taskbar. You can see the search widget on Taskbar in the featured image above. This can be enabled by editing registry using Vivetool as per the source who posted the above image on Twitter.

One needs to be on the latest Windows 11 insider Build 25136 for being able to use this feature. Using Vivetool one needs to enable “SearchBoxLowerLeft” which brings widget on Taskbar.

Windows 11 version 22H2 new features/changes:

Windows 11 update destined to come out this year is Windows 11 version 22H2. It may  bring system-wide Dark mode and many other new features and UI changes. Microsoft is also working to improve Windows 11 File explorer and multitasking experience.
