Microsoft has finally made Android apps available for Windows 11 PCs with the February update. This enables Windows 11 PC users to enjoy over 1,000 more apps and games with the Amazon Appstore. Microsoft has however also made more stringent requirements official for running Android apps on Windows 11 using Windows Subsystem for Android.

While 4G RAM is required for being able to install Windows 11, for running Android apps minimum 8GB RAM is required. Apart from the RAM requirement, internal storage should be SSD and processor should belong to (Intel® Core™ i3 8th Generation, AMD Ryzen™ 3000, Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 8c,) or above.

The Android apps via Amazon Appstore preview are officially available in only the US, yet one can install them in other regions by changing region to US and by using a Amazon US account. One can also sideload Android apps using ADB or by using WSA Tools available in Microsoft store after installing the Windows Subsystem for Android.
