With the latest update to Microsoft’s premier productivity app, Microsoft has added a new treat to the app, Transparent tiles.
Version 1.6.1705.24002 is now available in the Windows Store and by default enables transparent tile, once you pin it. We also noticed the app has been renamed to only To-Do in the apps list, compared to the fuller Microsoft To-Do moniker.
This update also fixes tons of bugs as well adds several enhancements.
Here’s the official changelog:
Improved: We know, we know… our tile was looking a little out of place for a while. We like to stand out from the crowd for all the right reasons, but we also know when we should fit in. So, we’ve changed to a transparent tile and also shortened our name for easier reading.
Improved: We’re constantly improving accessibility and we’ve made a ton of fixes in this update.
Improved: If you’re on Creator’s update or newer you’ll now see a line through the to-dos you’ve ticked off, just to up those satisfaction levels.
Fixed: You can now use the Menu key on your keyboard to easily bring up the context menu for your to-dos.
Fixed: “Where have all my tasks gone?!?” is a sentence that turns up in our worst nightmares. So, the bug that caused your tasks to look like they had disappeared, put us into a cold sweat. The good news is that we’ve fixed it now, and we’ll all sleep better for it.
Fixed: If you were editing your to-do using the Pinyin keyboard you may have noticed that your edits weren’t saving. We’ve fixed that issue now.
Fixed: Changing due dates on a recurring to-do was causing you a few headaches. We’ve fixed it now so it should work exactly as it’s supposed to.
Fixed: We’ve added a missing tool tip that should have shown up in the list options. We’ve put it back in to help you get to grips with the app.
Fixed: Finally, we’ve fixed a crash that was causing some of you problems.
