The job openings also make it clear that the new File explorer experience improvement will be applicable across both Windows 10 and Windows 10X.

As a software engineer on this team you will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and monitoring top-level UI surfaces across Windows 10 and Windows 10X. You will engage with and listen to customers and collaboratively make product decisions on how best to deliver on our customer promises and scenarios. Your work will include developing solutions in C++, Win32, and WinRT technologies. Familiarity with ReactJS and/or XAML will be helpful.

The developer is expected to develop solutions in C++, Win32, and WinRT technologies. This will usher in good cross-device compatibility and usability for the new File explorer.
