Microsoft has revealed the latest Next Week on Xbox lineup, confirming a packed release schedule for July 20–24, 2026. The upcoming week features more than 20 new titles across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Game Pass, including major launches, indie adventures, survival games, platformers, puzzle experiences, and fighting games.
Among the biggest highlights are Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, The Planet Crafter, Shift At Midnight, Forever Skies, and the retro-inspired shooter CULTIC.
Biggest Xbox releases next week
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game (July 23)
One of the week’s biggest releases, Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, brings the beloved Avatar universe into a hand-drawn 2D fighting experience featuring 12 playable characters, multiple game modes, and Xbox Play Anywhere support.
The Planet Crafter (July 21) – Game Pass
Launching day one on Xbox Game Pass, The Planet Crafter lets players terraform a hostile planet alone or with up to eight players in online co-op by building bases, gathering resources, and transforming the environment into a habitable world.
Shift At Midnight (July 22) – Game Pass
This unusual horror management game combines gas station simulation with psychological horror as players identify dangerous doppelgangers while keeping their business running through the night.
CULTIC (July 23)
Fans of retro FPS games can look forward to CULTIC, a brutal horror shooter blending classic gameplay with survival horror mechanics and an extensive campaign.
Forever Skies (July 24)
The post-apocalyptic survival title Forever Skies arrives on Xbox with solo and co-op gameplay, allowing players to build and upgrade a flying airship while exploring a devastated Earth.
