Microsoft has pushed a new office insider (Fast Ring) update for Windows Desktop. The update takes the version of office apps Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook to Version 1810 (build 10910.20007). Microsoft has also posted the release notes for all office apps.
In terms of changes, the latest insider build brings Picture transparency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook and more.

This feature allows users to show what is behind an image giving greater control when making edits to picture in their Office documents. Getting Started: 1. 1) Insert a picture in an Office document 2. 2) Click on the Picture Tools Format tab in the ribbon Scenarios to Try: Click on the Transparency icon in the ribbon and play around with some of our preselected values. Try out the transparency slider to get more precise control by either clicking the “Picture Transparency Options…” button in the ribbon or the “Format Picture” option in the right click menu. Restrictions: This feature is designed to only work for one picture at a time. |
