Telegram has finally updated its mainstream messenger client on Windows 10 Mobile, adding some features that were introduced in the BETA/Preview app lately. Version 2.3 of Telegram Messenger adds voice call support, but don’t get too excited.
Although Telegram boast of secure, crystal-clear, artificial intelligence powered voice calls, we find it quite buggy after the update and do not work as expected even with a strong Wi-Fi/Mobile data connection. We couldn’t end the call and it went on to hang the app till we force closed the app from the menu.
You also get the ability to set-up a proxy connection/server with Telegram Messenger. Telegram names it as “anti-censorship tools”. To do so, head to Settings >> Proxy Settings.
What’s is New in version 2.3
- Telegram Calls are here: secure, crystal-clear, constantly improved by artificial intelligence.
- This update also features anti-censorship tools such as the ability to set up a Proxy server.
