WhatsApp for Windows Phone devices received an update earlier today, pushing the app to v2.17.152. As usual no official changelog has been provided in the store, but we have been able to detect a few changes in this latest update.
First, there is a new button (two down arrows) to take you back to the end of the chat. This is not visible at once, but when you scroll down to check past messages, it pops up towards the bottom right corner and there-by a simple tap jumps over to the last message received/sent.
Secondly, a new feature lets you clear or delete all chats in one go. So, for example, if you have a 50-100 jumbled chats, you can go to settings >> chats and calls >> delete all and follow the on-screen instructions.
However, if you have want to retain starred messages , you can select delete all except starred which will delete all chats except the ones with some starred messages.
And last but not least, there is a colored ring (same as accent color) around the contact picture inside the chat window and determines if the person has a new status upload or not. Tapping on the picture will directly take you to the status.
