Windows 11 Sun Valley 2 aka Version 22H2 update may also bring support for foldable displays. Intel has hinted at PCs powered by 12th Gen Intel Core mobile processors with new foldable displays coming to market in 2022.

Intel launched its 12th Gen Intel Core mobile processors at CES 2022. In its official blog post it revealed that PCs featuring foldable displays are expected to hit market in the first half of 2022.

The launch of 12th Gen Intel Core mobile processors also ushers in updates to the IntelEvo platform for laptops and other on-the-go form factors, verified to the third-edition specification and key experience indicators of Intel’s Project Athena innovation program. More than 100 co-engineered designs with 12th Gen Intel Core mobile processors – including new foldable displays and, for the first time, H-series in addition to U- and P-series – are expected to start passing Intel Evo verification, and most will be available for purchase in the first half of 2022.

The Windows 11 update destined to come out next year will be the version 22H2. As per a new report this update will bring much-desired and currently missing Taskbar features back. It may also bring system-wide Dark mode and many other new features and UI changes.

The Windows 11 version 22H2 update is termed Sun Valley 2 update internally. It may follow the Windows 11 21H2 release date schedule. Read more about Windows 11 version 22H2 new features and release date by clicking here.
