Windows 11 version 22H2 aka Sun Valley update 2 is the upcoming annual update for Windows 11 targeted at 2022. Microsoft may be working to change the ALT+TAB interface design in the Windows 11 version 22H2.

The redesigned ALT+TAB interface shows apps as windowed unlike the full-screen window experience that we have on Windows 11. You can check how the new experience looks like in the featured image above.

The same experience existed on Windows 10 earlier and it may be a welcome step to bring it back to Windows 11. Microsoft has brought this change to insiders in the latest Windows 11 insider Build 22526. Read more about the Build 22526 by clicking here.

  • We’re experimenting with showing ALT + TAB as windowed instead of full screen for some Insiders.

Windows 11 version 22H2 aka Sun Valley update 2 may bring many important changes and new features for Windows 11. It may bring back the missing Taskbar features, a true system-wide dark mode, and Third-party widgets support. Read the full Windows 11 version 22H2 coverage by clicking here.
