As Microsoft is working to redesign the Windows 11 File explorer in the upcoming version 23H2, more tidbits are appearing. We last posted that File explorer redesign showing “Gallery” could be enabled using Vivetool. Now, it seems that Windows 11 File explorer gallery has added a new feature already.
The Microsoft enthusiast account behind most of Windows 11 23H2 File explorer redesign leaks has now posted about a new added gallery feature in 23419. It seems that the 23H2 File explorer gallery can now automatically refresh when you delete/edit an image to show any changes instead of continuing to show the unedited/deleted image until you manually refresh.
You can check the short video below for seeing this new feature in action. Though it is still early in development and may be rough around the edges.
The (hidden) File Explorer Gallery has gained a neat improvement in 23419 – it can now automatically refresh when you delete/edit (example: rotate) an image to show any changes instead of continuing to show the unedited/deleted image until you manually refresh pic.twitter.com/kQq2s3T2Fl
