While Google is most widely used search engine compared to Bing and Yahoo. However Microsoft’s Bing is gaining market share by capturing Google’s share and Yahoo.
ComScore one of the leading internet technology company, reports that Bing owns 20.9% search engine market share. The company says:
Google Sites led the U.S. explicit core search market in November with 63.9 percent market share, followed by Microsoft Sites with 20.9 percent (up 0.1 percentage points) and Yahoo Sites with 12.5 percent. Ask Network accounted for 1.7 percent of explicit core searches, followed by AOL, Inc. with 1 percent.
