Microsoft has been long rumored to bring a new Foldable Surface PC codenamed Centaurus, that will run the Windows Core OS, WCOS. Now, a report from an analyst Jeff Lin, Associate Director, Consumer Electronics at IHS Markit claims that this device will be launched in Q1 2020 or H1 2020 by Microsoft.
The report claims below mentioned details about Centaurus citing supply chain info.
- It will run WCOS (Windows Core OS) version meant for dual display devices
- Will be powered by Intel 10 nanometer (nm) system-on-a-chip (SOC) Lakefield processor
- It will run Android Apps and iCloud service in Windows 10
- Always on connectivity function (LTE or 5G)
