Microsoft has finally taken the stand and updated one of its oldest apps for Channel 9 community site. The new app presents a redesigned look embracing some of the platform specific features like Live tiles. Also, the new UWP App provides an improved search experience for non-English users who accept Language-Enabled.
I have tried the app, and it works pretty well as far as the content browsing is concerned. You also have the option to download the videos that might interest you. By default, it will download in “medium quality” but you can opt for low quality (if limited mobile data doesn’t allow) by going to settings and set it.
Overall, the app looks good and gets the job done.
