Google has released Chrome browser version 85.0.4183.83 for Windows 10 in stable channel. The new update brings many new features with itself.
The top new features in Chrome version 85.0.4183.83 are collapsible Tab Groups, QR sharing, and Jump Lists for PWAs. It also brings performance improvements, lets you fill out and save PDF forms.
Tab groups feature is now rolling out to users but is not available to everyone currently. The update also brings support for AVIF image format.
Google has claimed 10% improvement in performance with the new Chrome version. Jump list for PWA apps is another important addition in terms of user experience improvement.
