Microsoft has been developing the Microsoft Edge with Chromium for quite some time now. The browser has been available in the Canary and development channel builds for quite along.
Now it seems the Redmond giant is getting closer to the official rollout of the Microsoft Edge browser that will be based on Chromium. You’ll have a question in mind that how could we be so sure about that? Well if you make a Google search today for ‘Microsoft Edge Stable’ the first result you’ll get the official link from Microsoft which makes us believe that the build could be very close to becoming public.
Now if you click on the link, you’ll get a setup download file in your and that will be installed as Stable version of Microsoft Edge. Please be aware that this will replace the Classic/legacy Microsoft Edge from your PC and you won’t be able to uninstall this build.
