Last year, Microsoft introduced Windows Phone 8.1, a major update over previous version of Windows Mobile operating system. Along with Windows Phone 8.1, Microsoft also introduced Cortana, a digital personal assistant. However, since many year Microsoft is working hard to improve the digital assistant on Windows 10 and bringing it to other platforms, including iOS and Android.
Today Microsoft officially releases public version of Cortana for iOS and Android devices. Thousands of users were participated in Beta programme, to help and shape the Cortana app for both of the operating system. Along with Android and iOS versions, Microsoft is also working closely with Cyanogen to bring better Cortana experience.
The Cortana app is available for download for iOS8 users, and the devices running Android 4.1.2 or above. However, currently user can enjoy Cortana.
