Windows 10

The Creators Update aka March Update for Xbox One is already rolling out to console owners worldwide and comes with some of the biggest fan requested features and updates that everyone around has fallen in love with.

On Windows 10 PC, you already have the Xbox app which lets you access your Xbox gamer profile and allows you to see your friends, games, achievements, avatar, access to the Xbox and Windows Stores and more. You can also view your Gamerscore leaderboard across devices, view your GameDVR clips, start Party chats, stream your favorite games from Xbox One to any Windows 10 PC in your home while using your Xbox Wireless controller and more.

To make it easier to get in touch with the Xbox Live community, Microsoft has introduced the Clubs and Looking for Group features right into your Xbox app. If you are wondering, what these are, here is a short description.

Clubs:

Clubs are online meeting places created by the Xbox community for people to play and socialize. Join clubs that interest you, or create a new club from scratch.

Looking for Group:

Think of Looking for Group as a “players wanted” bulletin board—a way to help you find players on Xbox Live with similar goals and interests. Browse posts created by the Xbox community, or try creating your own post.

If you get these right, it is time to move on to our tutorial. If not, you can always come back later.

How to create a Club:

To get started, open the Xbox app and click on the Clubs icon on the left-hand menu. From here, you can view and post to the clubs that you already belong to, search for new clubs to join, or create a club of your own.

Once you’ve created your club, give it some personality. Add a background, choose a profile pic, and make other customizations that’ll show the Xbox community what your club is all about.
