Method 1 –
In this workaround we will reinstall Microsoft edge by using PowerShell.
1. First a fall, navigate to this directory in your PC
C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Packages
2. Then search for folder named Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe. And Delete it folder.
If computer refuses to delete some content in folder then skip it. After that restart the PC.
3. Then press Windows logo key + Q and search for Windows PowerShell. Then right click on PowerShell app and run it as administrative.
4. Then navigate to your user account directory by this following small command and hit enter.
cd C:\users\{your user name}
5. After that copy and paste following command in PowerShell. And hit enter.
Get -AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml” -verbose}
6. Once the command is executed successfully then you will see”Operation completed for” message at bottom.
And now just restart the computer and try launching Microsoft Edge app. It will run without any issues.
