As expected HP finally reveals their Microsoft Surface Pro clone named Spectre x2. HP have included 12-inch display which is almost same as old Surface Pro 3 and weighs 1.85 pounds. There is also an Wacom-made active pen but it’s sold separately. However the device is light and thinner tablet.
When it comes to design the Spectre x2 is slightly thinner than the new Surface Pro 4 as it is only 8mm-thick, however the tablet weighs just 1.85 pounds but it weighs increases to 2.69 pounds when keyboard is attached.
Good part of the device is priced at $800 including keyboard, but accessory comes separately at $130, however  Surface Pro 4 is priced at $899 which is higher than Spectre x2 even Microsoft not included the keyboard.
The display of Spectre x2 comes with 1,920 x 1,280 resolution, which is not bad at this price. However HP included sixth-gen Core M chips. If we talk about battery, HP promising 10 hours of runtime.
HP offers a choices in processors varying from Core m3, m5 and m7, However the device will sold with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM and there is option varying with 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of storage. However the devices comes with 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel at back, because of this the Spectre x2 is doesn’t support Windows Hello as RealSense camera is located at back of the device, however there is 2 speaker on the tablet and 2 speaker on the keyboard.
As of now HP have not announced the release date of Spectre x2.
