It seems Nokia was preparing a mini Windows Tablet of its own before it was cancelled. Images and details have emerged of a new 7-inch Lumia Tablet. This Tablet doesn’t look like the earlier leaked Lumia 2020 that was also cancelled. Lumia 2020 was supposed to have a 8.3-inch display, while this one looks more compact in size.
Images reveal a signature Lumia design with colorful polycarbonate body. What is more interesting is the fact that it runs Windows 8.1 and not Windows RT. So, it was upgradable to Windows 10. As you can see in the image below it was powered by Intel Atom Z3795 processor.
Surface Mini and Lumia 2020 both were Windows RT tablets and both were cancelled by Microsoft before it decided to sunset Windows RT. But now it seems even mini Tablets running full Windows version were cancelled at some stage.
