Microsoft has now pushed new updates KB4075200 (BuildĀ 10586.1358) and KB4075199 (Build 10240.17741)Ā for AMD devices on Windows 10 Version 1511 and 1507. The Specter and Meltdown fixes that arrived with last cumulative update build made AMD devices to fall into anĀ unbootable state.
These updates should be able to fix unbootable state issue.
BuildĀ 10586.1358 Changelog:
This update can be applied to Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 10 Education editions only. This update isn’t applicable to Windows 10 Pro or Windows 10 Home editions and won’t install.
Improvements and fixes
This update includes quality improvements. No new operating system features are being introduced in this update. Key changes include:
- Addresses issue where some customers with AMD devices get into an unbootable state.
- Addresses issue where a part of the system does not log off correctly, which leads to repeated queries for user credentials.
