Microsoft has provided a fix for the issue due to which insiders are not able switch to Beta channel to get Windows 11. Many users in Dev channel reported the issue of not seeing the options to change channels in Settings > Windows Update > Windows Insider Program.

Microsoft recently released the first Windows 11 build to insiders in Beta channel and many insiders wanted to move from Dev to Beta. Beta channel is considered safer as, Microsoft will release more stable Windows 11 builds to Beta.

Now, Microsoft has provided steps to fix the issue of “Beta” channel switch option not appearing for insiders. Check the steps below that may help if you are facing the same issue.

FIX: Insiders not able to switch channels – **UPDATED 8/3/2021**

Hello Windows Insiders!

Windows 11 is now in the Beta Channel, and some of you are wanting to move over from the Dev Channel. We’ve been getting some reports that some of you are not seeing the options to change in Settings > Windows Update > Windows Insider Program. We have a fix that should get you back on track. Please note, this fix is for devices that are not showing the Choose your Insider Settings and Windows Insider account settings, as in the image below.

If you are seeing this, please follow the steps below to restore the missing options:

1. Click on Start

2. In the search box, type cmd

3. In the lower right of the search results, under Command Promptclick Run as Administrator

4. On the UAC prompt, click OK

5. At the elevated command prompt, type: bcdedit /set flightsigning on

6. Press Enter

7. At the elevated command prompt, type: bcdedit /set {bootmgr} flightsigning on

8. Press Enter

9. Reboot the device

You should now see the missing options:
