Unlike Microsoft’s existing news app, Hummingbird uses AI to curate news that is relevant to you. Microsoft yesterday launched the app on Android and it is currently available only in a few markets.
As you might have guessed it, the app will get better with time since it’s powered by AI. For that, the AI-based news app learns from the search history or from click on posts. To get the best expeience, you need to register on the app by using your Microsoft or LinkedIn account.
One you are done with the installation, much like most of the news app out there, you need to choose your field of interest, like Sports, Technology, Politics, etc. And best of all, you can block any news source you want. On the bottom of the app, you find three tabs, Feed, Search, and Me. Under feed you have all the articles of your interest while the Me is as obvious as it sounds, provides saved articles, search history.
The app is currently available only in the USA but if you are keen on tesing the app you can download it from APK Mirror.
