Microsoft makes Skype calls to Ukraine free & adds “Support Ukraine” emoticons

In a bid to show its support to Ukraine Microsoft has made Skype call from/to Ukraine free on all platforms. It has also added “Support Ukraine” Emoticons on all platforms. Microsoft is also supporting Ukraine through the non-profit organizations listed on the Skype Home Page.

It has also added ability to translate Skype and phone calls from/to the Ukrainian language. These all changes and more have been added to the Skype insider Build 8.82.76.403. The new build is out now and new features are rolling out gradually over the next couple of days, as per Microsoft. Check the full changelog below.

Make free phone calls to Ukraine: on all platforms. Stay connected by calling from/to Ukraine for free. To help further, we support Ukraine through the non-profit organizations listed on the Skype Home Page, and you can as well.

Support for more languages in Translated Conversations: on all platforms. Translate your Skype and phone calls from/to the Ukrainian language.
