We have earlier reported that Microsoft is planning to join Microsoft Movies Anywhere. Today is the day Microsoft officially joining the bandwagon.
As obvious as it seems from the name, you will now be able to enjoy movies from anywhere be it from Google or Apple on your Movies and TV app. That basically means you can now purchase movies from your phone and can watch on your PC and Xbox. Now the caveat here is that the feature is exclusive to US markets.
- Register for a Movies Anywhere account at MoviesAnywhere.com or click ‘Get Started’
- Follow the instructions to sync your Microsoft account (and any other participating retailer account you have)
- All eligible movies will now appear in your Microsoft Movies & TV account to access on Xbox and Windows. You’ll also see the same movies via the Movies Anywhere app on supported platforms: iOS, Android, and streaming devices.
