We have seen drawings of the real design of what looks like a Microsoft Smartwatch or Smartband via some patents earlier. Now more details are out about this wearable from Microsoft.
- There are many reports claiming that the Smartband will make it to market in Q4 2014 and will be compatible with iOS and Android apart form Windows Phone.
- It will pack as many as 11 sensors to accurately track wellness related stuff like steps, heart beats etc.
- It will display notifications from the connected smartphones just like other competing wearables from Samsung and others.
- But what differentiates it from others is its cross-platform compatibility.
- It may be priced similar to existing fitness bands from likes of Samsung.
